"After years of missed opportunities both socially and professionally because of a problem with blushing I decided it was time to do something about it. I was fairly open-minded about hypnotherapy but I suppose a part of me was sceptical - how could a life time's problem disappear in just a few weeks without medication?? The sessions did only last a few weeks and although hypnotherapy was not an overnight fix, it required dedication to practice techniques and understand my behaviour, it certainly led to change that happened so subtly that I was hardly aware of it until I realised that a few months on I was speaking up in meetings, running events and going on dates, and not once did I go red. I have developed a new confidence that stems from being completely comfortable with being me, not the way I look or how much money I earn. For the first time in my life I feel in control of my behaviour, and in turn in control of my future.
I highly recommend hypnotherapy if you have an open mind, and if you haven't I would still encourage you to have a consultation with Catherine because she is so personable and sure that she will be able to help you that I think you may be swayed. If I hadn't taken the plunge to make that first appointment I would probably still be the quiet girl that didn't participate in meetings and would rather stay in than go out and meet people. I think the preparation and breathing techniques massively helped me feel more comfortable on the day.
